Namika Sagara, Ph.D. is a behavioral scientist with 15 years of experience in leading and managing Behavioral Science and decision-making research. Besides conducting rigorous academic research, she applies decades of proven academic insights to help her clients understand and guide irrational human behaviors. She is also an international speaker and has experience presenting in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to various audiences, ranging from C-level executives to junior marketing professionals. She currently holds a visiting position at Duke University and has taught marketing as well as psychology courses. Dr. Sagara received her B.S. and M.S. in Psychology and Ph.D. in Marketing from University of Oregon, and was a Post Doctoral Associate at Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Her consulting clients include large corporations such as Allianz Global Investors and General Reinsurance as well as startups. She also consults professors at major Universities, such as Duke University and UCLA, and researchers at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
Steve Shu specializes in incubating new initiatives and business lines with primary focus on services and technology. Steve has held a number consulting and management roles at Allscripts, the Center for Behavioral Finance at Allianz Global Investors, Nortel Business Consulting, Pittiglio Rabin Todd and McGrath (acquired by PwC), and numerous startups. Steve has also been an Assistant Professor in the business school at Irvine University and an Account Director for the Taproot Foundation. Steve holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and both an ME and BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Diogo is originally from Portugal where he obtained a BA degree in Social Psychology from ISPA, and MSc degree in Statistics/Consumer Behavior from the NOVA University. He is currently a PhD candidate in Behavioral and Experimental Economics in Tilburg University/Netherlands.
His areas of interest are individual choice under uncertainty, pricing and incentives. He also collaborates with public sector bodies on the use of behavioural science.
Caitlin is a sophomore business major pursuing a BSBA at Kenan-Flagler with a minor in Psychology from Duke. She is interested specifically in how behavioral economics affects business and leadership decisions.
Liana is a senior at Duke studying Psychology and Italian. She is especially interested in how understanding behavioral economics can lead people to make healthier decisions.
